The Japanese manufacturer will also showcase the menacing looking MT-10, which is essentially a naked R1. This mean looking motorcycle is based on the same platform as the R1 and will take its place at the top of the MT series of street naked motorcycles by Yamaha. Powering the bike is a 998cc crossplane engine derived from the R1. The bike was recently launched in Thailand at TBH 89,500 which is around INR 1.66 lacs. It is essentially the naked street version of the R15 powered by the same engine. With a bigger area than earlier editions and more exhibitors, the Auto Expo 2016 is expected to be bigger and better than before. Organised by Society of Indian Automobile Association (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturer Association (ACMA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Auto Expo is organised in two parts - the Component Show and the Motor Show at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi and India Expo Mart, Greater Noida respectively. The Auto Expo 2016 Motor Show, to be held at Greater Noida, has attracted over 100 exhibitors, 65 out of which are automobile manufacturers. The 13th edition of Delhi Auto Expo finally begins today.
